Three share the lotto rollover
Saturday rollovers seem to be becoming a habit of late, but that doesn’t mean that interest is waning, quite the opposite in fact as last night’s National Lottery draw showed. Last week one winner walked away with the entire lot, but it’s shares this week as three lucky players walk away with over £2 million each.

That makes for millions in lottery jackpots for National Lottery players to buy lottery tickets for.

The prize won a few weeks ago is worth a life-changing £1 million but the winner still hasn’t stepped forward. The winning Euromillions ticket was bought in the Bedfordshire area of the UK and was purchased for the Euromillions Lottery draw on 9th July.

Bumper Saturday Lotto jackpot
July seems to be the lucky month for Saturday lottery players as every draw this month has been a rollover. Yet again looking at the lottery results, the Wednesday jackpot has rolled and that means a £7 million lottery jackpot for the weekend. Last week’s £7 million winner has now stepped forward, could you be next? There’s only a chance of that if you buy lottery tickets for the £7 million National Lottery rollover at the weekend.

Five unclaimed lottery prizes for August
It would seem that many lottery players from around the UK had a very forgetful February as there are five unclaimed lottery prizes to expire this August if the winners don’t come forward. Many winners have just a couple of weeks left to claim and one, just a few more days so we thought we’d give a rundown of the unclaimed lottery prizes in the hope that we can jog someone’s memory.

This Saturday the nation is to see a National Lottery show first as Mumzy Stranger and Preeya Kalidas perform their debut track ‘Shimmy’ on the BBC National Lottery show. Split for Lotto Rollover
UK Lottery players certainly had a lot to be excited about this weekend with back to back lottery rollovers. But while the Euromillions may have teased players and rolled again, the UK Lotto jackpot was split, as two lucky players matched all six winning numbers in the draw.

Two Lotto jackpots still unclaimed
From time to time, we see lottery prizes go unclaimed and added to the fund for good causes. Each lottery winner has just 180 days to claim lottery prizes before they are lost forever and right now there are two lottery jackpots, both worth over £1 million waiting to be claimed in the National Lottery offices. Here are the details of the latest unclaimed lottery jackpots and how long is left to claim.

Yet another Lotto rollover
The midweek lottery excitement was over and without the sight of a single millionaire. No lottery players matched all six winning numbers in last night’s National Lottery draw and that makes Saturday’s jackpot an estimated £7 million! You can check last night’s lottery numbers on our lottery results page to see if you were one of the lower-tier winners and then look forward to the weekend when we have double the rollover fun.

An inquest has ruled that an 84 year old grandmother from Bedford committed suicide because she lost all her money in a lottery scam. Lieselotte Gerrard 84 was found dead after taking an overdose of pills, following becoming a victim of an international lottery fraud. It’s one of the most tragic cases involving a lottery scam we have ever heard at the National Lottery offices and means it’s time, again to warn potential victims of lottery scams to steer clear.

Five share Lotto rollover
It’s been an exciting weekend in relation to lottery draws in the UK with last night’s Euromillions rolling over to next week and £7 million up for grabs in tonight’s UK Lotto. But no massive rollover winner was created tonight as five lucky players share the UK Lotto rollover. The rollover jackpot reached £7.5 million in the end, giving each lottery player £1.5 million, not a bad return for a £1 stake.

No top winners for Euromillions
It’s Saturday and that of course means it’s time to check the Euromillions Lottery results from last night. You can check the full results on our lottery news pages but unbelievably, no one in the UK won any of the top level prizes. It wasn’t just the jackpot that proved too elusive for UK Euromillions players, as the second and third division prizes were not won either. Here's all the news from last night's Euromillions draw.

UK Lotto heads for a rollover
After pondering midweek on whether the midweek National Lottery draw would be shared so many ways that no millionaires would be created but in the event, no players matched all six winning numbers and that means tomorrow’s UK Lotto draw is a £7 million rollover. That means there is almost £20 million up for grabs in lottery prizes up for grabs to UK players this weekend.

Will tonights Lotto winners be millionaires
It’s Wednesday and that of course means it’s the National Lottery UK Lotto draw but after the results of the last few weeks one wonders if the UK Lotto winners will even be millionaires. When the UK Lotto launched, prizes were big and millionaires were plentiful but these days the jackpots are more modest and many jackpots are shared between several winners so often jackpot winners are not even collecting £1 million.

Many shouts have been put out for the winner on both our lottery news pages and in the local and national press, despite this, the winner has still not come forward and the prize remains unclaimed.

UK Lotto shares once again
It seems to be becoming a habit for the National Lottery, each week, many winners sharing the jackpot, making much smaller payouts that expected. Even last weekend’s Lottery rollover had four winners for the £8 million jackpot and the midweek rollover only paid jackpot winners £224,000 each. Last night’s lottery draw boasted a jackpot of over £4 million but five winners meant that the jackpot winners will collect less than a million each.

It wasnt me for Euromillions
A UK lottery player has been forced to stand up and announce it wasn’t him who won the record £84 million jackpot on the Euromillions Lottery a few weeks ago after receiving begging letters from as far afield as China. The unfounded rumour started immediately after the result that the lucky Euromillions winner was an Asian gentleman from Blackburn, Lancs but whoever it was, it wasn’t this unfortunate soul who has been deluged with requests for cash.

New Euromillions advert
It’s a Euromillions rollover tomorrow evening, the first one for six weeks and unsurprisingly it’s got lottery players around the UK excited. Scratch2cash has just given away a life-changing prize on their online scratchcard website and we’d like to congratulate the lucky winner.

Banned festival wins lotto support
A music festival usually held in Bolton, Lancashire was cancelled by council chiefs last year, but now, after receiving a National Lottery grant, the festival will be back next year. It’s one of many grants awarded by the Big Lottery Fund Awards for all programme and this particular good cause certainly came out on top this year. Here's all the news on the Big Lottery Fund awards for all and how it is helping many organisations around the UK.

Four share the Lotto rollover
It was an exciting night as the UK Lotto had a rollover jackpot up for grabs. It was an estimated £7 million but high ticket sales produced an £8.1 million jackpot and a massive four ticketholders matched all the winning numbers. Each winner in last night’s National Lottery draw walks away with £2 million each. It's a nice even share, with everyone winning a life-changing amount of money. That has to be a good lottery result, surely?

And the lottery rollovers begin
Forget the World Cup, the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico and everything else that’s going on in the news right now as tonight, the lottery rollovers begin as the National Lottery rollover is drawn. It’s not just the UK Lotto rollover to look forward to now though, as last night the Euromillions also rolled over, giving UK Lottery players plenty to play for this week.

Will Euromillions Lottery make it five
The question on everyone’s lips today is whether this week’s Euromillions winner will be from the UK, or even if it’s going to be won at all? For four weeks running, there has been a Euromillions Lottery winner, unusual for a draw with odds of one in 74 million. We’re used to big rollovers and bumper jackpots but can the Euromillions Lottery make it five weeks with a winner this week?

No winners for National Lottery
It’s Thursday and that means the National Lottery results for Wednesday night are in and ready to be checked. There were lots of smaller winners and you can check the results and amounts on our lottery results page. Here’s all the news from last night’s draw.

Euromillions winning couple are very lucky indeed
You’d think winning £12 million would be all the good luck one person could reap in a lifetime but it seems not as Friday’s winning Euromillions couple have proved by winning the Euromillions jackpot, matching three numbers on Saturday’s UK Lotto and then winning £25 on the Premium Bonds too! The lucky couple are the latest UK Euromillions Lottery winners and they walk away with £12,408,000!

UK Lottery jackpot is so last season
For it to take a couple of weeks for a lottery winner to come forward is not uncommon. Often lottery players need time to think, talk to family or maybe even get together as a lottery syndicate to decide how best to handle your new found fame. However, the UK Lottery has one jackpot unclaimed since March and now one can only assume that the winner isn’t aware that they are new found millionaires.

2012 Olympic Issues affect Lotto funding
Today we ask if even more pressure is to be put on the lotto after more issues with funding for the 2012 Olympics. Since the Coalition government came to power they have been seeking ways to slash public spending, and cutting the budget for London 2012 may be one way of clawing back some cash into the public purse. The Lotto good causes fund has already made a huge contribution to London 2012 with millions diverted from other good causes plus exclusive scratchcards and other fundraising for the games.

Double winners for UK Lotto
It’s been another weekend of lottery winners here in the UK, with Fridays Euromillions Lottery jackpot going to a single UK winner and now two winners on Saturday night’s UK Lotto draw is shows that UK lottery players are coming out on top. All eyes are on England at the moment, hoping the World Cup team can bring home the coveted prize. Well it seems we certainly have the luck at the moment and if last night’s Euromillions draw is anything to go by, it’s in the bag. Yet again a UK Lottery player scoops the Euromillions Lottery jackpot, continuing a run of good luck on the lottery for UK lottery players.

First National Lottery held 450 years ago
A letter has surfaced and is to be sold at auction that proves that the first National Lottery in the UK was held 450 years ago. The document, which is emblazoned with Queen Elizabeth I well known signature shows that the first national lottery in the UK was held in 1566. Tickets for the draw were sold over three years and the jackpot for the lottery was £5,000, an amount that wasn't even paid in cash.

Two Share the Lotto rollover
What a lot of excitement there was this week over the UK Lotto rollover! It’s little surprise when you consider it’s been almost a month since the last National Lottery rollover and lottery players in the UK have not exactly had rich pickings from either this or the Euromillions Lottery. The jackpot was an estimated £6.5 million but lottery fever swept the UK yesterday and that jackpot hit £7.3 million, shared by two lucky lottery players who matched all six winning numbers.

Wednesday is D-day for Euromillions winner
Imagine having a winning Euromillions ticket and not finding out you’re a winner until after the deadline to claim. Well that’s exactly what might happen to one Euromillions winner if they don’t come forward by Wednesday. There’s an unclaimed lottery prize for the Euromillions Lottery worth £616,198, despite several appeals by the National Lottery, the UK press and us here at National-Lottery.com the winner has still not come forward but this really is the last call as on Wednesday at 5pm the prize expires.

Consecutive numbers create lottery rollover
A run of consecutive lottery numbers may just have sealed the fate of last night’s National Lottery jackpot as the odd numbers meant no one won the jackpot. Yes it’s a UK Lotto rollover on Wednesday evening and after last night’s £4 million lottery jackpot was not won, Wednesday night’s jackpot is an estimated £7 million and that's sure to create a lot of interest in this week's UK Lotto!

Lottery winner victim of Cumbria killer
A Lottery winner who scooped £2.3 million on the UK Lotto has spoken out about how the win means nothing now that his brother has been gunned down in the Cumbria massacre this week. Readers can’t have missed the leading story in the media this week about the crazed gunman who indiscriminately shot and killed people in the Lake district and one of those gunned down was the lottery winner’s brother.

Warning over latest lottery scam
Police are giving our warnings in the Avon and Somerset areas of the UK over the latest lottery scam where one pensioner has already lost £7,000. The telephone lottery scam centres round the Spanish Lottery and police are concerned that elderly and vulnerable people could be especially at risk. The scam works in the same ways as many scams that have been aimed at UK Lottery players.

Four Share the UK Lotto
It’s another week of smaller winners on the UK Lotto as the £4.7 million jackpot is shared four ways! It’s the latest in a long line of shared lottery jackpots and it’s making us wonder how jackpot winners must feel when they get, for example, four times less than they imagined they were going to get when they realised they had matched the six winning lottery numbers.

UK players have a lotto luck
It seems that UK lottery players are having a lotto luck right now with some big jackpots being won on a regular basis. It was just a couple of weeks ago that a UK Lottery player scooped £84.4 million on the Euromillions Lottery to become the UK’s biggest ever lottery winner. Last week a European won the £13 million up for grabs but this week it’s swayed back to the UK as one UK lottery player scoops £12.6 million.

Lottery shake up sees contracts lost
It can mean a lot to a village shop to be the only place to be selling lottery tickets for miles, especially in rural regions. Offering lottery tickets for sale can mean keeping your head above water when you run the post office in a tiny hamlet or the petrol station on a little used b road. So the latest lottery shake up will mean a great deal to certain lottery retailers because as many as 175 stores around the UK are to lose their lottery contracts for not performing as well as they could on the sale of lottery tickets.

Lotto winner on the bins
A UK Lotto winner who blew his winnings and was branded a yob has said he wants to go back to his job on the bins and forget the whole thing ever happened. Mikey Carroll is well known in the British press for winning £9.7 million on the UK Lotto and blowing his fortune, earning him the title ‘King of Chavs’. Now he has come forward to say he has reapplied for the £200 a week job he quit after winning the lottery.

That means it’s time again to start searching for those old lottery tickets and seeing if you are a UK Lotto or Euromillions winner.

Shout out for Euromillions winner
The team at National-Lottery.com are giving a shout out today for a Euromillions Lottery winner that still has not claimed their jackpot. Will Euromillions beats estimate
It’s not even a week since one lucky UK lottery player walked away with over £80 million, the biggest ever UK lottery prize when the five times rollover Euromillions jackpot was won. The lucky winner must still be reeling in shock but time doesn’t stand still in the lottery world and tonight it’s the Euromillions Lottery draw again. Of course there’s no £80 million on offer but the base jackpot on the Euromillions Lottery is an appealing £12 million and quite often straight after a big rollover the Euromillions beats the estimate as lottery fever drags on for another week.

Last call for unclaimed Lotto jackpot
On Monday 24th May a Lotto jackpot worth over £850,000 will expire and the winner will lose their chance to claim the prize. The unclaimed lottery jackpot was from a draw back in November last year yet despite several appeals for the winner, no one has come forward. The unclaimed lottery prize is worth £851,513 and if unclaimed by Monday 24th May the prize will go into the fund for good causes, plus any interest it has accrued since the draw back in November.

New government new lottery
Remember just a few weeks ago when all the political parties were vying for votes in the General Election? There were all sorts of promises being thrown about, many of which have not been addressed yet but one thing we do remember about the campaigning was how each party was going to deal with Lotto funding for good causes.

Will Euromillions player join the rich list
A quick look at the Financial Times rich list today will tell you that should a UK lottery player win tonight’s £86 million Euromillions rollover they will be projecting straight up the list and become a record UK Lottery winner. Tonight’s draw has rolled over five times and if a UK lottery player scoops the jackpot they would come in 760th on the rich list ahead of some very big celebrity names.

Two share the double lotto rollover
All eyes were on the UK Lotto double rollover last night and with an £11 million jackpot, it’s little wonder players were keen to hear the results. In the event, two shared the double lotto rollover, with each winner collecting over £5.5 million! It’s great news for the winners and as there were £18 million of prizes given away it’s clear to see that there were plenty of smaller winners too.

Spoiled for choice with lottery rollovers
UK Lottery players are spoiled for choice this week with lottery rollovers from both the UK Lotto and Euromillions. Tonight it’s a UK Lotto double rollover and today is your last chance to buy tickets for the £11 million draw then on Friday it’s the turn of the Euromillions Lottery with an estimated £86 million jackpot. Will we see some big UK millionaires this week? It’s all in the numbers of course and how they fall.

UK Lotto sales on a high

Never ending lottery rollovers
It must seem to UK Lottery players that we are stuck in never ending lottery rollovers right now. It seems rollovers really are the order of the day, getting UK players hot under the collar about the prospect of such big lottery jackpot prizes.

Lottery Rollovers for the weekend
It looks like lottery rollovers are the order of the weekend as both the Euromillions Lottery and now the UK Lotto produce no winners. Would a lotto win change you
We all say it, that if we won the lotto it wouldn’t change us, but would a lotto win really change you? That’s the question we’re asking today as we read about the last big UK Lotto winner. Steve Smith and his wife won £19 million on a triple UK Lotto rollover draw in 2008. The couple became one of the biggest UK Lottery winners but the win hasn’t changed them and Mr Smith in particular still has an eye for a bargain.

Euromillions winners marry in secret
After the publicity that followed becoming the UK’s biggest ever lottery winners, Nigel Page and Justine Haycock could be forgiven for being fed up of all the fuss and maybe that explains why the Euromillions winners have married in secret in a quiet registry office ceremony. This gives them equal shares of the Euromillions Lottery jackpot, which was originally just paid to Nigel Page.

One week for the new Thunderball
There’s just one more week to wait for the new improved Thunderball draw from the UK Lotto as tickets for the new draw go on sale next Sunday. There’s also to be an extra draw, plus bonus prizes for matching the Thunderball.

UK Lotto single winner
After a recent run of shared lottery jackpots created by several jackpots winners, the UK Lotto has seen a single winner for last night’s draw who will walk away with the entire £4.5 million jackpot. Neither Wednesday’s or last Saturday’s draw created a single millionaire, with prize money being split several ways but the Lotto is back to form as this £4.5 million winner will testify.

Winning Lottery ticket a lucky dip
The single winning ticket of the UK Lotto jackpot from 17th April draw was a lucky dip says the winner today. Robert and Susan McIntosh from Aberdeenshire couldn’t believe their luck when they checked their lottery ticket to find they were the sole winners of a £4.4 million lotto jackpot and they didn’t even choose the numbers that won them this multi-million pound jackpot.

Worker misses out on Lotto syndicate win
Gary Davies, a factory worker from South Wales, must be kicking himself now as the only member of a workforce not to be part of the lottery syndicate. Research this week has shown that the National Lottery doesn’t benefit the poorest people in the UK who spend more of their proportion of income on the games in the hope of a big win. Manual workers and the unemployed are more likely to play National Lottery scratch cards, according to the research yet they are least likely to benefit from lottery funding.
